Appointments
Consultations are by appointment only which are made by calling 05964 81415. We do not operate a walk in service. However, we reserve a number of appointments each day for urgent same day issues. Should you require an urgent same day appointment please ring the practice at 9am that morning but please be aware our phones lines are extremely busy but your call will be answered as soon as a member of staff is available.
Upon ringing to make an appointment you will be asked to explain briefly the nature of your illness. This is to help us triage your call so that your doctor or nurse can be made aware in advance of your attendance and the reason for your visit.
We cannot guarantee that appointments will run to schedule or that you will always see your preferred Doctor but we will do our very best to try and accommodate you.
We aim to see our patients as near as possible to their appointment time. However medical emergencies may take priority which can lead to delays. In such circumstances we request that you remain patient with us.
Late Arrivals
It may not always be possible to see patients who arrive late for their appointments. In the event that you may be running late, we request that you ring the surgery to inform us.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the demand for appointments at Weavers Square Family Practice we are requesting prepayment at the time of your booking. A charge of 100% applies for any appointment missed, late cancelled, or changed without 24hrs notice (excluding Weekends).
The cancellation fee is only waived in exceptional circumstances.
When a patient does not attend their booked appointment, this DNA patient is taking the slot of another patient who could have attended.
As a courtesy, we send text reminders the day before your scheduled appointment. Please understand it is the your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to prevent any missed appointments which will result in loss of payment.
If you cannot attend or no longer need an appointment, please let us know in advance. Your cooperation will help us improve our service to you.
