Weavers Square Family Practice operates an ‘appointment only’ clinic

GP consultations are needed to diagnose complaints, prescribe a new medicine, monitor an ongoing prescription or order a blood test. It may be helpful to give some brief details when booking as our reception staff can arrange the most appropriate appointment for you.

Consultations are by appointment only which are made by calling 05964 81415.  We do not operate a walk in service. However, we reserve a number of appointments each day for urgent same day issues. Should you require an urgent same day appointment please ring the practice at 9am that morning but please be aware our phones lines are extremely busy but your call will be answered as soon as a member of staff is available.

Upon ringing to make an appointment you will be asked to explain briefly the nature of your illness. This is to help us triage your call so that your doctor or nurse can be made aware in advance of your attendance and the reason for your visit.

We cannot guarantee that appointments will run to schedule or that you will always see your preferred Doctor but we will do our very best to try and accommodate you.

We aim to see our patients as near as possible to their appointment time. However medical emergencies may take priority which can lead to delays.
In such circumstances we request that you remain patient with us.
